The Global TB Caucus will host a special Parliamentary Consultation on the High-Level Meeting on Tuberculosis from 25-27 April 2018.
The meeting will see members of the Global TB Caucus come together from across the world to discuss the global response to TB and the steps that need to be taken through the High-Level Meeting Political Declaration to tackle the disease.
Delegates from G20 countries will meet a day earlier to discuss this year's G20 campaign, following on from the Caucus' successful efforts to secure a reference to TB in the 2017 G20 Leaders' Communique. All delegates will then meet for a day of discussions on Thursday 27th, before taking their message to the UN itself on Friday 28th.
The event is being hosted in partnership with the Permanent Missions of Japan and Antigua & Barbuda to the United Nations, in their roles as co-facilitators of the High-Level Meeting.
