Setting strategic priorities for TB care in Eastern Europe and Central Asia

Civil society organizations gather to set priorities for people-centered care in the region.


From December 5th to 7th, TB Europe Coalition, Global Fund Communities, Rights and Gender Strategic Initiative and Center PAS, Alliance for Public Health and TB REP and MSF Access Campaign got together in Tbilisi, Georgia, to discuss the priorities for TB care in Eastern Europe and Central Asia.





Mr Akaki Zoidze, Member of Parliament from Georgia, opened the regional meeting on strategic priorities for operational and drug-related advocacy for quality people-centered TB care in the region. Mr Serhyi Kiral, MP from Ukraine, also joined the meeting and highlighted the importance of aligning key strategic objetives and plans for the fight against TB throughout the next year.
